While Yosuke is in this comic, let's discuss Yosuke for a moment. I recently checked the P4TW TVTropes page and SomeNewGuy seems to find the way I handle Yosuke to be a bit harsh. This, coupled with some comments I've seen on the comic itself, makes me feel that this is an issue that should be addressed.
I've made it no secret that I am not the biggest fan of Yosuke, and like with all characters in this series I will accentuate his flaws to make the comic funnier.
However, I would NEVER allow my own personal hang ups with a character to try and ruin it for all of you. Yes, in scenes where Yosuke does something stupid, I'll call him on it and do a comic about it.
In other words, I don't like Yosuke. But that doesn't mean I'm going to intentionally write these comics with the mentality of “Hmmm…what horrible thing can I do to Yosuke this time?” He gets his just desserts when he does something stupid or annoying just like anyone else, and he'll have plenty of good moments and funny punchlines, like anyone else.
Re-read the comic from the start and just pretend that I never said that I don't like Yosuke. I really don't treat him too much worse than several other characters. In fact, a lot of the bad things that happens to Yosuke in the game are things that I didn't bother to do in the comic (critical hit to the nads, anyone?)

…Why is it I can have every character and comic shine the worlds brightest spotlight of hate on Ken and people cheer, but when I bag on Yosuke suddenly I'm a jerk? :P

I didn't even seeing you being that mean to Yosuke. As I've read up to this point, I was always kinda waiting for you to get meaner. But you never did. You didn't even treat him as bad as Ken. Though I was sad that we seemed to have total opposite feelings about the characters. (I hated Junpei, you loved him, I loved Ken, you hated him, Yousuke's my favorite, he's your least favorite...) Weird. But anyway, nothing was too cruel about the way you handled Yosuke. But anyway, point is: They're your characters. Making your fans happy is cool and all, but if your Yosuke character is prone to pain and all sorts of misfortune... That's just how it goes.

I will admit that I felt a little uncomfortable when you said you didn't like Yosuke. To be perfectly honest, I think a lot of the people who don't like him focus on the stupid stuff he does and ignore the good things he does. This page made me feel a bit better. As for being okay with being mean to Ken, at first I understood that there needed to be a character everyone picked on, but later on (especially with his Social Link), the Ken hate actually made me kind of uncomfortable.

I never thought that you were too harsh on yosuke since he honestly does deserve a lot of the stuff he gets. And since he ges better by the end of the game I never felt back when it happened. Personally I'm hoping for one comic where Kanji punches him after a stupid comment.

I also liked Yosuke most of the time in P4, except for the couple of times where "Tell Yosuke to shut up," should have been an MC dialogue option. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy a joke at his expense, as long as you aren't making it less funny just so you can torture Yosuke. Otherwise, another great comic!

Ken hate comics where really funny. But Yosuke has alot of fans. Plus, it just seemed that you are offending him by saying stuff like : "I don't like it when Yosuke get good line". I don't have a problem with what you are doing. It just seemed that your few Yosuke hate comics were more offending to him than just something for comedy sake.

I'll confess, I loved Yosuke in P4, he was my favorite character and one of my favorite parts of the entire game. Does that mean I will ever discourage your hate for him? Of course not! In fact, I encourage it, it makes for some great comedy, it makes me think Yosuke can be the new Ken. Don't ever let what someone else says change what you think your comic should be.

I'm kind of disappointed that you're not tearing more into Yosuke, honestly. He is not a good person at all. I believe that anytime you are given the chance to respond to him there should be a default option to stab him in the eye with a dull pencil. That said, event hough Kanji is my favorite character, I don't expect him to get any less "abused" than anyone else...except Teddie. Teddie is the balls.

I honestly didn't notice any...uhm, "discrimination" and I'm one of those who loves Yosuke. Then again, everyone has their opinions.

YMMV, but Yosuke deserves all that he gets, considering that he's quite douchy. Just look at half the things he says to Kanji. And as for why people don't mind you hating on Ken, that's just 'cause people hate kids.

Dude, I love Yosuke, but I don't think you're being unfair to him at all (at least half of those bad things happen to him in the game anyway). Keep up the awesome work and funny comics.
