Elly is one of (In fact possibly the only) character whose ultimate Persona changed between games. Here in Persona 1, it's Michael, but in Persona 2, it became Gabriel (who by the way has an AWESOME design if you guys haven't seen it)
Which makes sense, I suppose. Much like Durga interacting with Gdon, Michael has a good relationship with all of the angel demons you can encounter in the game.

It's odd. I've always liked Gabriel, which is weird because I'm ardently Chaos. I think it was SMT2 that did it for me. Sure, she was all for the whole eradication of humanity and subjugation thing but at least she wasn't the joiner the other three were. To an extent, she was almost making her own decisions. If she weren't my enemy, she'd be my friend. That sort of thing. Also, she's blue and blue chicks are mad hotness.
