Page description:
The Buccaneer is warned over the radio not to continue, vessels mass in front of her. Pinky rushes to the bow to see what's happening, much to the chagrin of Ace. A passenger steamship heads across their path. Captain Rasovich explains that it's doomed. The passengers on board it realise what's happening and are quite distressed.
Commentary:
This page contains some cameos! Mer from Katch's Revenge Addict, Warpedwenger's Adrian from Wakon Yosai, and Mishi Hime's Ryu-hime from Ryu-hime. This had an extremely long delay, as you'd be well aware if you follow Pinky TA, I had a lot on and I was never happy with this page, I'm still not. More work time means less time to spend doing nothing, trying to work up the momentum to do pages. Now by the time I've done nothing for 10 hours, it's time to go to bed so I can sleep and go to work the next day. I used to be able to do nothing for 10 hours and then finally get on a roll and work on it for the next 20. Looks like I need to change some work habits.
Plus, with DD as it is and no page editing for the past few months you have to get the image right first time or delete the whole page and re-upload it. I don't like doing that so it pevents me showing a page at stages. -_-

Katch is good at the battle scared look see it very much on show in her fascinating comic, Katch E 20.

Nice work once again, although I find some of your layouts a bit weak. Like panel 5...the characters placement is un-interesting to the reader. the characters have their backs to us, the reader, but we still cant see what they are seeing. Moving the group in a way we, the readers, could also see what the characters are experiancing, would help in the dynamics of the panel and overall reading experiance.....just my opinion of course. Still, nice overall artwork.

Maybe the passengers could jump overboard and hope to be picked up by some of those other ships? The page looks really good as far as I can see, so I can only imagine what's not to like about it.

That last panel says it all. By the way, I think you were referring to this as far as page editing, but you can reload a DD page by changing the file extension, even a jpg to jpeg will work. Sorry if you knew that already or it wasn't what you were talking about.

Good god! I know what you mean about the 10 hours of nothing and then more nothing....it gets harder and hard to draw! There must be something in the water or airborne productivity destroying microbes. It's still one of your typically gorgeous pages, Ozone! I feel a bit sad for Ace...., I mean the passengers of that ferry boat.
