This elegant piece depicts the futility of war via a depiction of the struggle for dominance between an anthropomorphic pencil and eraser: The more they fight, the more they die. But alas, it is their purpose to die.

Really at the time I was just drawing a pencil and eraser fighting and had no idea how profound it truly was.
