I was meaning like the time when Argon lashed out not trashing the event per se. As usual I have to specify by the truckload. What was done with the "Roy and co leading the awards" was in fact as you said. Sure there is an idea or two on what could be done about it but in the end dealing with that many variables I'll just make another cup of coffee or tea and try to relax.

we never intended to trash the regular dd awards. when we did it the word was that there would be no dd awards. we wanted to do a more crazy and wild version of it. give it the edge it needs to have. as we started our awards a new steped up to make the regular dd awars happen and they did a great job of it on very short notice. we just did it with more attitude and a hell of a lot faster. we took about a month and a half from start to finnish. i don't think that could ever be done again. it all went to hell when we said we would do the regular awards show the following year if no one else wanted to do it. that's when the community lost it's fucking mind and it started to get real ugly real fast. that is the plain and simple truth of how it all went down.

I didn't think of it that way. Perhaps due to the idea that the community is taking potshots at your work maybe due to envy itself... And not sure on how many people would like another "awards being trashed" I'd vote on that if Roy doesn't win anything this time (seriously he needs to win).

thanks every body. @pipo, you choose. i have thought about doing another side awards show. but the work that every put in on that one was very intense and we ended up getting a lot of crap about it.in the long run i feel we helped to save the regular dd awards.we made people wake up and understand that they cared about the awards. they have a good team on the dd awards but should they drop the ball we will be ready and we shall swoop in and give you an awards show that would rock the site to it's core!

Your backgrounds are always stellar. You put more effort into you backgrounds than most comic artists put in the characters. That's what sets you apart from the rest. Also, Pam is right abut how you draw the Duck.
