Chapter 1 - Page 6

Only six strips and already I've hit the Wall of creativity, the point where I look at everything I do and decry my skills, wailing about how pathetic I am for subjecting this ineffable twaddle upon the world. "What made you think you could make a webcomic?“ my subconcious says. ”Of what literary worth is a story about space pirates? And how can you call that odd swiggle a hand?"
This is usually the point when I give up in a fit of despair, but I've failed enough to recognize the Creative Wall now, so I can kind of ignore it enough to keep on working. But I'm still not pleased with that swiggle of a hand. Shot myself in the foot with the balloon placement as well, but ah well. Maybe I'll fix it eventually.

Ignore that silly creative wall, it all seems fine to me. It's only natural to pick at the details of your own work (I do for pretty much anything I draw), the longterm benefit being that you can refine it as you progress. Space pirates are awesome anyway, regardless of literary worth. Oh, and I'm loving the dialogue here. More please!
