Where we've gotten to, if you need a reminder: Aboard the STARFIRE mega structure in Jupiter's upper atmosphere, pirate hunter Nadia has been seized by a clawed mutant, the spawn of a radiation leak that transformed most of Starfire's crew into murderous predators. Nutty scientist Chalice Abernath and her deadly daughters Ariana and Kiarra have abandoned Nadia to her fate. Chalice's goal is to somehow detonate Starfire, which has been damaged, turning Jupiter into a star in order to destroy the alien Worldship lurking in Jupiter's depths (the very purpose of Starfire's existence). Moments before the mutant attacked Nadia, Chalice had thrown Muscles into a plasma vent so he would be incinerated along with the bodies of Professor Castro Abernath (killed by Muscles) and her daughter Minara (killed by Black Quarter space pirates).
