the reason for craft names is privacy and safety. think of craft names like Internet screen names. FYI until rather recently practicing magic(k)was agents the law almost every ware. practicing magic(k) could get you at the least arrested and at worse dead in vary painful ways. in some parts of the world this is still true. so the people who preformed magic(k) would use craft names and where hooded robes to lesson the chance of getting ratted out if one of the coven where arrested and torchard for information There is no reason to use a craft name any more unless you live some ware people who use magic(k) openly face discrimination and violence.

As though what? Finish your sentences! =) Beyond that, why do 'craft' names annoy everyone so much? It's just a name...so what if people want to be called by a different name. I don't really seperate magic from my life anymore, but I don't scorn those to young to understand. Let them make their own mistakes, they'll grow out of them eventually.

We have a game called WitchVox bingo. Search user names using the words Raven, Wolf, Silver, Moon, Lady, and Lord. Count until you are sick of looking at them. We tried to turn it into a drinking game but everyone wound up with alcohol poisoning.
