"Shub-Niggurath" has gotta be the most offensive creature name in fantasy fiction. Though the name of Delapore's cat in "The Rats in the Walls" was pretty shocking as well. Boy, those really were different times!
Cthulhu? Don't you know a Dark spawn of Shub-niggurath when you see one? Or am I the only guy who played Call of Cthulhu rather than D&D? Fantastic art.
