Good Meets Up with Evil at a Neutral Location

At a neutral location (which I should have noted in-frame) Skully and Jenny are meeting up to do planning. Yes, normally High Voltage and Mr. Evil would be negotiating but this is Skully's caper so she's acting ‘leader’ for the villain side and pretty much well everyone watching knows how this works.
I'm still alive. Really, really busy but still alive. Things have been… interesting. My new job is very demanding and since when it was apparent I'd be losing my Dad I haven't quite gotten my rhythm back. Priorites have had to shift, and ST is the one to be pushed to the backburner but I will certainly not let it die! :)

I know what you mean about proportions getting strange on the computer! Even my "all-digital" comic uses pencil or pen roughs to get the set-up and structures correct. I think the "zoom" function on my computer really throws off my ability to size and place objects and panels.

@TheAuldGrump: They've got a little neutral location in some old parking garage, they wouldn't go in full costume to a coffee house. Both Skully and Jenny have back-up but I didn't think of angling it to show them.

@Mina_Luna: Hydro... is not exactly a sad sack. There is a reason why Cursive does not like him. For now, let's just say that Psycha got herself a few female fans after the stunt she pulled and she's not the only heart-breaker. I plan for some of the story to come in the next arc, since Skully's getting more serious about him. The full truth is pretty complicated. As far as my non-photo-erasable pencil, I still rough out the comic on ol' paper and pencil. It's still faster and looks better when I rough it out old-school, when I do it digitally my proportions slip easier.

Heh, most likely a coffee house, by name of Neutral Location - very popular for these kinds of things. (The Bank of London began with a handshake in a coffee house....)

I'm starting to feel bad for Hydro. Is he always just getting traded around? First a a city without much water, then two (to varying degrees) psychotic girl friends ... man, this guy needs a good break! Or is he your designated sad sack, poor boy? Why do you pencil with blue pencil, if you are using digital ink?

@Locoma -- I don't ink traditionally, I just pencil. All the inking and colouring occurs digitally. I mentioned my Dad passing before, but I don't think everyone caught it. I'm recovered enough to talk about it now, maybe starting to get back to normal at last although I think my birthday's gonna be difficult.

great page! I love all the emotions displayed on it, and it looks really neat. I didn't know you inked it traditionally, last page was great to learn about your technique. Sorry about your dad, I hope you get time to spend with him.

Whoo! Update! Sorry to hear about your dad - I lost mine a few years ago, and my mum year before last. Still catches me at odd moments.
