Here's the last oil painting from my college days that I have that's worth showing, a wintery sunset view from the rickety little second floor painting studio they gave me in the Lorado Taft Midway Studio complex, a fascinatingly ramshackle collection of mismatched buildings begun from three barns beside the Chicago Midway in 1906 by sculptor Lorado Zadoc Taft:

That's on 11“x14” canvas board, from 1996. The view doesn't look like that anymore; the two brick buildings visible have been torn down and replaced by big modern visual arts school centers that look to have expanded the University's visual arts square footage at least five-fold since my time! :P
