Star Strip page 146

The second to last page wrapping more stuff up. This actually goes back to page 2 where Scotty wants to look at the Aordian dreadnought and Rickover replies that it is unlikely as the Aordians are very protective of their technology. And here is Jenny offering a guided tour with the second officer. Rickover is probably off sulking and will feel even worse when he finds out that he wasn't invited but Pike was. Jenny lets Scotty's compliment slide by without even a thank you. It's how she interprets the “no sexual interaction” order. Another reference back to the first few pages. Wow you'd almost think I was doing some kind of circular plot thing.
Another Trekkie joke with the Picard maneuver being the pulling down of the shirt/jacket. Patrick Stewart often adjusted his in Star Trek:TNG.
Notice Pike refers to Picard as THE Jean-luc Picard. That'll come up in a later story. Pike is a figure of Jeff Hunter from The Cage.
Scotty's reference is to a certain doctor who hates the transporter is an oblique reference to Dr. McCoy. Another bit of Trek trivia.

Picard is my favorite captain and I feel TNG showed the full potential of what Trek could be .

I thought the Picard thing was a reference to TNG bringing the franchise down. I liked TNG! Also, I'm with Dr. McCoy on not trusting the transporters. You couldn't force me on one of those things with a firing squad!

p.s. Scotty is right - she's VERY fetching in that uniform; I was thinking the same!

Agree with jerrie - it's amazing that you have a Jeff Hunter figure! And a mention of Picard on top of everything else? this is Trekkie Nirvana!!

From the looks of that dreadnought, I suspect that the Aordians might have taught the Klingons a thing or two about space ship design...

TNG was a proof that a cure for alopecia won't be found in the future...

Well I like the new style 'scaled' unis better than the classic ones, but Jen sure wears it well!! Dang that dreadnought is huge!!
plymayer at 4:24AM, Sept. 30, 2015
The dreadnought looks a bit like early design and redesigns for the Enterprise from TOS and TMP.
