The pressure of revealing your life through your comic is wearing you down. Yeah, okay, I cheated.

I dunno, but Bill Watterson said, "The best comics are fun house mirrors that distort appearances only to help us recognize, and laugh at,our essential characeristics."

I feel that the way we perceive the world shapes our reality. The best of your material draws the viewer in and makes them think. Fantastic!

Do you find your own nearly naked body attractive or something?

Does reality distort perspective, or does perspective distort reality?

Maybe you went the funny route and thought, "I need to ease up on the yoga!"
Crispiest Fortune at 8:20AM, Aug. 17, 2007
Or, and this is pretty close to what has already been said, maybe the tiled part of the picture is actually a window. And the mirror represents what the outside world sees. And the distorted figure is what you see.

I love this picture. Very Lewis Caroll. could you turn it into a background?
antcomics at 7:35AM, Aug. 17, 2007
You were thinking, "Time to lay off the vodka now!" ;op ...no clue. I had thought maybe you wondered if the mirror you was actually the real you and the non-mirroe you wasn't. But I think someone basically already said that.
arteestx at 6:59AM, Aug. 17, 2007
Are you distorting yourself? Is life a series of compromises where we all distort ourselves somewhat to survive? Is the cosmos inherently unable to allow consciousness to purely follow its own selfish bliss, instead forcing us to submerge some of our desires as we connect to others in order to reach a higher level of fulfillment than we could ever achieve as individuals? ....either that or, maaaaan these druuuuugs are awwwwwwwesommmmme duuuuuude.
dueeast at 6:59AM, Aug. 17, 2007
I agree with Villamar, but D0m and Peipei had great insights also. I am curious about the tiling effect, though. It's almost like the "funhouse mirror Tera" is looking at the "regular/buff mirror Tera" through a tiled mirror. Many variations of vanity issues under consideration, perhaps? A psychologist would have a field day! :)
mcaldero at 6:42AM, Aug. 17, 2007
Or are you looking at a floor mirror that DOES exist, but what you're seeing is tiled... Maybe you're thinking to yourself "I really need to stop bungee-jumping.." I GOT NUTHIN...
mcaldero at 6:34AM, Aug. 17, 2007
No clue... But it's interesting because there seems to be a tiled mirror on the wall that shows a reflection of a floor mirror that doesn't exist in real life... I'm sure that has nothing to do with it, But an observation... :P
