In an Indiana Jones-like move, the Huntress Prime pulls a fast one on Saphyr. Some of those piercings seem to have a purpose beyond mere decoration. As you can see from the last panel, the fight isn't quite over just yet, but it's looking dire for Saphyr, with paralyzing venom running through her veins…
I used the same device I used way back on page 6 (I think?) to show movement of character within a panel (in this case panel 6). The breaking up of the sentence into separate speech bubbles leading into the emphasis in the last panel also helps with that and I'm quite happy with how this page turned out. We're almost at the end of Chapter 1

I think the next page will be even better! @fallopiancrusader: Haha, yes, the huntresses carry their tools and weapons on them - quite literally. I love those weapon pockets built into her body. If she ever traveled by air, the TSA officers would freak out!

She...pulled... the spine from her flesh!!! Wow! The figures remain gorgeous and the action poses intense and visceral!

It's not over until is over... Or as the saying goes: the fat lady only sings when Chuck Norris says it's over... This story is great so far...
