Chapter 1: Page 27

I thought that the time for drawing crowds was over, but I had forgotten about Pete's explanations and that drawing more crowds would be the appropriate companion image (laugh). Strangely enough the crowds weren't what was giving me trouble in this page. As I push myself into transforming my style, I end up having trouble drawing my own characters. I am still not where I want to be, but I'm sure I'll get there with enough time and effort.
That drawing of Pete in the fourth panel took the most beating. He does, however, look a little closer to how I originally intended him.
New page next Saturday, I hope. I start school this week so I'm sure my life will be a little more chaotic.

Answers! Well some, I find myself wondering about 'the other side' and hey, seems reasonable not to 'accept' being shot in the face by a passer by..

YoyOmega1 - Your right to say that Sydney acknowledges his death and doesn't have a place in what Peter is explaining. He does realize he's dead and there is something very strange about his circumstance that seperates him from the others... the next page will give a few more hints.

So if a straggler is someone who hasn't accepted their death...what is someone who dies without death accepting them? I dont know if thats exactly how this story was playing out, but thats how it seemed to me. Sydney died, but it was something unprepared for. If that is the case, then even if Sydney acknowledges that he is dead, he doesnt really have a place now, does he?
