Ok, this is the last page of ch. 2. Next ch. we'll be entering a dream again, and the mood of the story will take a different turn that could last a while. I hope everyone likes it,
.
As for this page, well, I have trouble drawing tech-stuff and having it not look like 50's sci-fi gadgetry. But let me just say that every button, wire, dial, gauge seen, and that skintight bodysuit, are necessary to make a network of entangled photons induce lucid dreams in human beings ;)
.
I don't really know how Kimber Lee got that suit on over her cast.
.
Thanks for reading, everyone

I love all the detail you've put into that middle panel. Can't wait to see how the adventure continues!!

At least, I got that impression when I worked for a hospital ages ago.

"I have trouble drawing tech-stuff and having it not look like 50's sci-fi gadgetry" - That's not really trouble, actually, since in my experience, the same is true for designers of modern hospital tech sometimes.

Thanks Cres :)

Great page.

Well, Kimber Lee certainly isn't scared going into it - even got a little bravado going. But... maybe she should be careful with preconceptions ;)
plymayer at 8:24AM, Jan. 14, 2013
I don't know, perhaps I read to much into these things :)
plymayer at 8:23AM, Jan. 14, 2013
It's a great page. Covering a lot of ground. What gets me is the last panel because we don't know what happens next.
KimLuster at 8:09AM, Jan. 14, 2013
Ahhhh - yeah that's scary too :)
plymayer at 7:53AM, Jan. 14, 2013
I mean scary as in going into the unknown.
KimLuster at 7:21AM, Jan. 14, 2013
@Plymayer: Do you mean the imagery, or Kimber Lee's change in demeanor? People with strong convictions can seem a little frightening, imo. But strong convictions can come about when someone has an epiphany, an 'ah-ha!' moment, or something violent or shocking happens. It can happen quickly too. Think religious experiences... How the entire US Pop was suddenly no longer anti-war when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor...

Kind of scary.
