Page 100 (along with the next 2) - and I experimented with a glorious medium I'd never tried exstensively: watercolor pencils. I saw some great results on the web by various artists, so I gave them a try… let's just say I've packed up my watercolor pencils. I strongly dislike them: way too hard to do fills, to make dark enough.. My night sky was so light that I attempted to paint over it with my software after scanning in.
Oh well… the next two pages are also heavily watercolor pencil, but not exclusively. I tried to mix in reg. watercolor too. The results are better, but I still will leave watercolor pencils to those who know how to use them haha.
But hey, Kimber Lee didn't kill Eli - decision was taken out of her hands… for now!

She never gets what she wants. Well I think the contrast can work towards your story, but I agree with you that what you did turned out really light, but that doesn't mean your detail wasn't still amazing. Great page.

I like that the guard called him an idiot. XD ....And again, these moral dilemmas make for some great tension! Would love to see more!

Agreed, Plymayer. It's a major dilemma - one that the 'killer' will have to live with forever. Additionally, sometimes it's better to let the 'victim' live, even if they 'had it coming'. To live with imprisonment (and hopefully, remorse)... Sometimes death is the easy way out

I think it's best she didn't kill him. He had it coming. Yet the guilt associated with killing him would not be some thing a good person would want to bare.

Thanks :) I won't be keeping the 'look' of this page though, it was a watercolor pencil experiment. Reg ol watercolor is coming back soon. Still... thanks
