Second page of my watercolor pencil experiment. I used a black watercolor pencil for the night sky, and it ate up half the pencil!!! Plus, when you add water to watercolor pencils, it doesn't seem to smooth out all the pencil strokes (as advertized). Oh well, I touched this one up with reg. watercolor and it came out a little better that the last page.
.
So, storywise, these guys just got thru saying Kimber Lee was ‘more than meets the eye’ (last page), then they proceed to sorta not pay much attention to her once they have her cuffed - is that a macho thing??? haha
.
But she is cuffed, taking on three guys, with machine guns… !!!

Alright nice twist. Yep pretty much what I would expect that she wouldn't let this opportunity pass her by. Nice choice of her expression in the 4th panel. And great detail all around this page, nice expressions and nice choice of focus for each panel.

True, plymayer, tactics plans (and simulations) often go down the toilet when the chaos of real fighting starts

Mapping the bullet paths could work. If you could keep track when everything is moving.

Aw, she's always cautious and plans ahead - no worries ;)

Kimber is taking a real big risk doing this. Good luck to you Kimber!

Thanks Banes :) Ha, yeah I've had similar sorts of abilities in dreams before, esp. the slowing of time. And dream logic is great - it's always so logical... while you're dreaming ;) Watercolor pencils might have merit for some, but it's just a different medium, really; one that I'm not ready to learn...yet. One more page of them, then I'm abandoning them for a while...

I love that sort of "dream logic" with mapping out the bullet paths (I've definitely had those sorts of thoughts/strategies in dreams)...or is this a dream? It made perfect sense if Kim has some sort of perception/reality shifting abilities. Anyway, this looks good...and the experiments with water color pencils and such are worthwhile even if they show you what you DON'T want to use.
