So it's not all is paradise down on the range. Older rancher taking little digs at Kimber Lee, and Socorro; she knows perfectly well that, in their culture, it's not at all uncommon for the woman not to take the man's name upon marriage, but Kimber Lee, not being native to the culture, is open for a jab. But she seems to be safe from getting shot there…! But… well there's always a ‘but’…

Thanks for reading everyone :)

@Peipei: I've been trying to gradually draw her getting gradually more buff since around Page 49. And she hasn't had time to exercise (not that the circumstances aren't giving her a work out. There's also been another change going on, will be glaringly obvious in two more pages ;) All this was hinted at way back in pages 25-26 (and I really hope I have time to re-do those pages someday).

I never noticed how fit Kimber was! I mean, I did but she's working more muscle than a lot of men these days o.o. Sexy!

@Szyszka666: haha, I think she's been saving it up for years :)
Szyszka666 at 2:15PM, Jan. 26, 2014
Oh, she likes to expostulate this, doesn't she?
Banes at 9:43AM, Jan. 25, 2014
truer words were seldom spoke! XD
KimLuster at 8:19PM, Jan. 24, 2014
@Banes: Yep! Unfortunately, muscles aren't much help when dealing with a scorned Latina!
Banes at 6:50PM, Jan. 24, 2014
I noticed Kim's growing muscles, too! And it looks like Kim's got a painful slog ahead of her with Socorro, too...those are the kinds of trials heroes have to face, Kim! We're supportin' ya!

@fallopiancrusader: Well I want to, but as you say, it will take a complete 'immersion' for me. I know it'll involve lots of sleepless hours for me. Time-wise, I'm just not ready yet, but I think there will come a day when I 'take the plunge'. Plus, I probably need an updated computer, with better graphics and memory, for dealing with large image files. Ahhh... someday :)
fallopiancrusader at 11:15AM, Jan. 24, 2014
If you want to learn to paint digitally you pretty much have to immerse yourself in it. Force yourself to do an entire page only digitally, and keep working on it no matter what, no matter how bad the first attempts are, no matter how long it takes. And for God's sake, don't do it alone. There are lots of tutorials on Youtube. Post some of your digital stuff on the crit/WIP forums at conceptart.org or cghub.com.(You will get good advice, but it will not be sugar-coated). GIMP is a good free package. ArtRage would probably suit your visual style quite well and it's only $50-.

@bravo1102: Not just you! She has been gradually getting more buff. Why? Perhaps that'll be addressed soon... Maybe very soon ;) And overly-heavy face lines - that's an area I struggle mightily... Everybody in my comic is 'old' haha, even babies :)

@plymayer: Agreed! 'Forgive and Forget' is one of the most inane statements ever created by humanity. And MyPaint? No, I never have - I'll take a look at it, but I typically suck majorly when trying to draw and paint digitally. I've even got a drawing tablet and I still have trouble. The best I can do it seems, is take a scanned work and increase the hues and shadows some... Maybe I really need to practice - I hear that digital work is much faster if you ever get good at it
plymayer at 4:54AM, Jan. 24, 2014
Have you ever tried mypaint ? It's a free program found here: http://mypaint.intilinux.com/ Played around with it for a bit, found it useful in some ways but really could not get it to work for me like I have liked.

Some things can not be forgotten. Forgiven perhaps. Never forgotten.

Is it just me or is Kimber Lee getting really buff? But she has to get some skin moisturizer to work on those laugh lines. Another great page.
