Okay, little bit of boob cleavage… Moving on… :)

So I heard this story from a friend (who heard it from a friend..) about this Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force who worked on a flight line (he worked outside most all the time, which meant he wore his hat all of the time). The story is he let his hair grow long (big ‘No No’ in the military) for two years until it was Rock Star length and no one ever knew because he successfully hid it under his hat while working (until a visiting general, during an inspection, asked him to remove his hat… so the story goes…).

Kimber Lee has only had to hide it for a few days, but boyo! has it grown in those few days! This is the big change I said would be obvious 2 pages later 3 pages ago (my math skilz were off that day). Well, this, and her ‘ladies’…

And now, using her super senses laced with pseudo-synesthesia (say that five time really fast), she's gonna actively peak inside her own body (she has before (see pg. 49), but it wasn't really under her direction then, but she's been practicing many things since coming to the ranch). She's looking for that little glowing thing that inside her (you know, that little unimportant thing we know so little about, that the whole story is named after…!). Maybe we'll learn something about it… maybe.

A bit off topic but, hey! I had a dream where I was telling people I was still sleepy and thought I was still dreaming. And I was. Do not know how many layers down that was... Two maybe?

I might've guessed she'd try to consciously change something about her body and see if it would work...but going deep into her own psyche promises to be more intriguing (and hopefully will provide more answers than sitting there trying to change her eye color or something...:))

@Peipei: True, she needs to eventually figure out what's going on 'inside' - her 'big boob' problem really is the least of her problems :)

I wish I had her big boob problem :s...Wow, she's changed quite a bit since she's been hanging around Socoro's. But you know, it is important that she starts focusing on her inner self at this point I guess :o.

@Szyszka666: Yeah, I think about some vampire stories... How the vamps are so beautiful, but it has a sort of 'alien' element, and of course the created beauty comes with a heavy price!

@bravo1102: I believe that about the Army - and the Air Force thing I'm not sure is true. Maybe it's one of those stories that belongs in Snopes (google it). But maybe Kimber Lee could believably keep it hidden for a few days. People probably see straggler hairs and start to get suspicious but don't say anything... yet. Super Hero eh? Well, if we can ever get past all the survival and self-explorations stuff, I would like to explore how I think someone might 'really' act if given above-human abilities. We'll see... :)

The whole hat hair thing only works in the Air Force. Pretty rigid in the Army about removing you cover inside with NO exceptions (unless under arms) Kimber Lee is entering super hero territory. She should invest in some spandex maybe go on the female wrestling circuit.
