Duck back up - Yaayyyy! . Soldier can hit Kimber Lee - unpleasant suprise! How he do dat!? . One more page in this chapter (keeping each ch. at 24 pages, just…. because :) . Thanks for reading everyone!
@bravo1102: haha, here's what I read. Laser points are not used so much by trained soldiers. 1) it reveals your own position if you're trying to stay hidden. 2) any atmospheric disturbance (fog, dust) can mess it up. It's largely for the movies... That's what I read anyway - I don't have (or know anyone) with personal experience. That said, these soldiers aren't really using laser dots. Rather, Kimber Lee is mentally imposing a reddish beam where her uber senses (subtly detecting gun barrel angles) think the potential bullet paths would travel (she first did this trick back on page 101). She even did it with her own weapon (I tried to put in a sorta yellowish beam on her prev page) As these are 'in her mind', no once else can see them. Finally, I do believe Norwood could accomplish the very thing depicted on this page :D
Incredible, one of the soldiers knows to keep his laser dot on a moving target. It's not that hard for someone very well trained. Maybe he's a SEAL or something. And with a laser dot he wouldn't necessarily need to aim. Is it Norwood from Interstellar Blood Beasts?
@Szyszka666: Well... she's recovered from gunshots three times already... but those times she wasn't surrounded people with intentions to keep shooting! And if I saw the last movie right, Wolverine can recover from 'mortal injury'! - he's essentially unkillable! Kimber Lee hasn't tested whether she can be killed yet ;)
@Banes: Yeah, in some goofy way I like to sort of pretend that everything Kimber Lee does is at least theoretically possible, if we could somehow tap into 'something' (the 'we only use 10% of our brain' thing has been debunked for the most part). That's what's fun about Sci-fi :) Related: have you seen the previews for the movie 'Lucy', with Scarlett Johannson? - can't wait for that movie!
Whoa! Is that soldier another extraordinary individual? Or is there some kind of dream/reality breakdown/matrix thing happening? I like the notion that this is all happening in a few seconds, with Kim able to process with extraordinary speed. And again, the sensing of bullet path potential is awesome. It seems like something that COULD be possible someday, if we became fully attuned to our surroundings.

Two to the head!!! This can't be good, surely.

@jgib99: Yep, I totally agree!

Looks like she is not the only one "infected" or dreaming. Or maybe he's just good at his job.

@FC: :) Haha, I knew it made sense!
fallopiancrusader at 12:37PM, July 10, 2014
Well, 24 pages is the standard physical page count for printed comic books that come out once per month, so that number makes sense.

It doesn't look good :( But she should heal, right? Like wolverine! :D

@FC: Thanks!; @Peipei: Good thing Kimber Lee is hardheaded!
Peipei at 10:59AM, July 10, 2014
Oh crap! Didn't kill her but a nick in the face can be painful as well i'd imagine. Get up girly!
fallopiancrusader at 10:41AM, July 10, 2014
Some great action poses in this page! Especially panels 2 and 6.
