Hey look, it's the house that Jack built (or at least his money did…)!
Señor Saavedra seems unimpressed, though - maybe his relative Eduardo getting killed (Pg. 245) has something to do with that…
I started to go into a big spill about how the gov't allowed the Saavedras (esp. Socorro, who has a Godstrain shard) to live here on their own, but decided against it. In my mind it has a bit to do with Kimber Lee's influence (her own and also through Jack Caleb)
Alright, what do Socorro and Kimber Lee have to say to each other…?
Barring the unforeseen, the next page should post Sunday, June 25.
Whole comic will be complete before July is over *wink*

It's as if Soccoro conjured Kimber with her own words! Papa may be salty about her right now, but he has to admit that he's pretty happy that his daughter is still alive.

Sometimes, people don't understand the difference between "right" and "fair". Excellent page!, the detail on the house is mesmerizing and I love the landscape effect in the bottom of the page. Wow! the story will finish sooner?

Wow, that house! Fantastic job! Funny, I was just the other day thinking of the Papa and wondering if we'd see him again before the story ended. I suspected we'd see Socorro of course; once again I have no idea how it's gonna play out between these two (and with Emilio, though I'm hoping for the best).

Great transition in the finest denouement tradition. But new fancy houses would barely begin to make up for what they endured. It would work for me, but I am rather easy to please. And honestly Kimber Lee has so much to be grateful for with Socorro.

Yeah, this family went through quite a tribulation, that's for certain!! I hope I never have to 'forgive' anyone over something like that!! Yes, Kimber Lee has a lot to be grateful with Soc, despite the latter trying to beat her brains in during their dream-quest!
