Son of Mr. and Mrs. Rockhound 44

For the non-lapidary types reading, a rock is cut into slabs, the slab is cut into shapes (square, round, heart, but usually oval) & these cabochons are attached to dop sticks with dopping wax so the person can grind away the unwanted stone without grinding away skin.

When the stone is polished some people put it into the freezer to make it easier to break off the wax. (Don't try this with opals because they will fracture.)

My rock club was recently hosting an open house for some home schoolers & they were allowed to work some cabochons & I thought up this joke as I was putting some cabs into the freezer.
