A picnic joke in November???

Well, this originally appeared in my club newsletter back in August. I just decided to wait until the Gertrude & Brunhilda story ended & didn't realize how long it would run.

And the South Sound Show went well. I actually went there Friday as well as Sunday. Power at my house was out Friday & it was too dark in the house to do anything, so I decided to help out at the show.

Didn't meet any web readers, but I would have been shocked if I had.

Sadly the Silent Auction didn't do as well this year as last. Though the few dealers I talked to felt they did well & since the dealers put up most of the money for a show it's good when they do well.

Thanks all. :-) magicalmisfits - Those Lears are such tempermental machines. ;-) kennatsu - Maybe it's just where I live, but tablecloths do blow around quite easily. Ickus - Oh, I'm sure your family would have understood. ;-)

We had power flickers on Sunday beacuse of the wind storm down here. Was cooking a turkey, hopping not to loose power. Dinner was good though. Had it not been for a family dinner, I would have tried to get up there to the show. :)
