Thanks all. :-) Celtic Minstrel - They didn't have any horses. Actually I originally planned to have them go into battle on foot, but when I drew Gertrude being chased by a giant squirrel on a whim I decided that they caught two more squirrels & exposed them to the same stuff. GTLB & Hogan - They really didn't have time to test how long it would last. Gertrude accidentally invented the growth serum just before Wheels sent Nikki the email.
