Glad you all liked it! :-) Of course when I was working on this I was thinking of all sorts of things to say about it, all of which I forgot when I finally did put it up. D'oh! Basically a number of people who try to kill themselves don't really want to die, they're just so confused about things that death seems like the only way, but only those who survive realize that.
