Trumpbert by P.K. Little

In an effort to give context to why I drew this it behooves me tell you that I did not create this for anyone in mind, I don’t draw political cartoons as a practice historically even before my previous projects numbering a mere few issues were taken offline by my former artist a long time ago. Recently, I became very upset with what I was seeing around me and policies that were being removed or condemned in what I am convinced is simply just to spite the previous president. Laws and restrictions concerning immigration and even gun control rolled back instinctually without clarity of thought and vision to the repercussions of how these knee jerk decisions would affect us. I decided at the advent of Trumpbert that it would be for me and ostensibly a passion project I could chuckle at with a specific kind of appreciation in parodying a political figure as well as expressing my disdain for an extremely overrated newspaper strip about a four eyed sociopath reacting to everyday things. I inevitably realized of course that anything I do creatively should be for everyone and my enjoyment could be marked by a commensurate degree. I made a promise long ago to dedicate a comic book to an old friend of mine and felt terrible when he died quite suddenly and I had not delivered. Thanks for being there, Lev Gorenstein. Sorry it took me so long, tavarish.
