I went back and forth on Tai's dialogue here for weeks, and I wasn't sure what I wanted her to say right up to the moment I was posting this…I kind of want to leave her motivations mostly vague to let you guys fill in the blanks, but if I don't give you anything, it just seems random. Coming up with a happy medium was not easy, and I'm not sure I succeeded, but the page had to get posted. The scene goes on!

Hm, so there's a strong suggestion that she's here to kill her friend and not his captor ... but perhaps that's just a clever ruse to let her lunge and impale the real brute behind it all? Of course, Tai may not be thinking that way, so I'll have to wait and see! I like the stripes on her pants, too. They make me think of a snake's belly.
