Well, it certainly does seem like the sort of spell that guy would've taught him…
But now you know what the cover's referring to! (And for once, the cover's referencing something specific.)
I wanted to make it pure silhouette in order to minimize the gore, but man, making pure silhouettes is really hard, and I just didn't feel like I had the ability to do it. So I cheated a little.

The stark black and white is, I think, more graphic than full line work would have been. Terrible and lovely. Effective choice. And that boy is going to have some fearsome nightmares now.

Probably not at first, Kei is very single-minded on some things, especially when she's decided to see someone as "the enemy". Beyond that we'll have to see...she could certainly stand to be a bit more open minded, haha!

Wow, brutal! I wonder if Kei's going to have second thoughts about what she said after a display like that? She did force him to do that after all.
