Well, THAT sounds like a plot hook!
For those interested, the city's name is pronounced “FOO-ren-dye”.
The festival name is pronounced “low-ren-sa-AHD”
It's not written in the usual foreign-word font here because these ladies are likely not saying them correctly.

"I can assure you, it's at least six times more quaint than usual." I like the dialogue here. It's got that 'generally well-meaning but mildly insulting and superior' sound to it that rings true.
