Chapter 04: Conflicting Truths

This chapter features the thrills of tea time.
You may notice that one particular character is missing from this image. I'll admit up front that it's because he's not in this chapter. We're going to let him rest and recover a bit and spend a bit of time with these jokers instead.
There's still a few things that need to be set up, but if you stick it through, I think you'll find it pretty worthwhile, and we'll get back to our sad friend pretty quickly.

Sorry for replying so late to that last bit - I missed it because there aren't notifications - but I always genuinely appreciate your comments. I never trust my own thoughts on any of this, but I am always trying to improve, so I'm really glad to read it. I think I'm just scared to let myself think well of any of my own work because then I worry I'll stop trying. But it's so good to know that it IS paying off. Thank you!

Just a quick follow up on this and last page: I wouldn't say "it works on some level" or " a bit." I would say that it's quality work that's consistent, solid, and ever improving.

Thank you! For such a subdued scene, it took what felt like way too much work, and I kept wondering if it was worth it. Very glad to know that it works on some level. Much appreciated.
