Long Live the King

Just two chapters left – in this story arc. :)
The speech in the last panel went through a major rewrite – considering it originally didn't exist at all. XD The original plan was a silent “contemplative” panel, but as I drew Seiko leaning on the chest, this seemed more natural somehow.
Panel 4 refers to a scene from a long while back (though not so long is “comic time”). Check out page 437 for a refresher. (Beware the ugly “art.” You've been warned.)
Lonnehart: Ronnie's viciousness is not to be underestimated. He's a nasty, angry guy.
DAJB: Thanks. :) Tim's lines are fun to write, always short and to the point.
Tantz: Indeed.
amanda: I'm not sure how much of a softie he is, but he might feel a little indebted to Seiko. And, yes, as we all know, shovels are dangerous weapons!
Peipei: The “accidental” nature of his actions is up for debate. ~_^
patrickdevine: Yeah, Seiko's a real lightweight. :-P
Jonko: Makes this a good time to slow the pace down. :)

Hmmm - is she in a dream? I'm hedging my bets on this one!

Hooray for the chibis!!! It's really sad that she thinks God hates her. I mean I know a lot of things are sad for her at the moment but this may be something she's probably thought for a good while. At least she keeps waking up. It's more than some characters are getting to do lately!

There was never any evidence that Tristan died...I'm willing to bet he's alive and not too far away either :3.

Let's hope Seiko's hold on reality isn't shaken by this. I know mine nearly was. I "woke" up, got out of bed... and found myself falling 300 feet onto some rocks. I then "woke" up again (before hitting the rocks), got out of bed and opened the door only to find myself falling onto the same rocks again. Rinsed and repeated 'til the morning. But by then I was too afraid to get out of bed. Even pinching myself to see if I was awake didn't help...

She wakes up in all the interesting places :P
