This is another one of those scenes that got condensed. I really wanted to capture Raidon's attitude and emotional state with a deep “heart-to-heart” with Tim, but there's a lot I had to get through in this chapter, so I managed to cut this exchange to the bare essentials. In a way, I like to make things as concise as possible. I think I succeeded in getting everything across I intended to, and I hope it isn't too subtle to make the important inferences.
Warpedwenger: But what about bad guys with needles?
Peipei: So true, and they fall faster when they don't acknowledge their need for a rest.
Tantz: Now that's a fine idea! Too bad he didn't bring some ether or something. That could stop his overexertion even faster!
DAJB: No! I don't wanna!
amanda: Aw. Too bad. Jess was really fun last year. Guess she's too good for us. :P I don't have a booth babe either! ;_; Well, there is Keith… (Btw, I'm staying an extra day this year. ^_^)

agreed, the scene could have been longer but you still managed to get all the emotions through. I also think you drew the study very well!

The concise version of the dialogue is fine. I'm afraid I always fall into the "[i]more is more[/i]" trap, and so I've long been a huge admirer of your ability to convey so much with so little!

Awesome, we should all get together on Sunday and play! I mostly just need the booth babe to watch the booth while I'm sitting on panels. Are you contributing to the art auction? I'm getting Jess to make a smaller version of the giant CatFace painting =D

Will Raidon ever completely take responsibility for his past actions x.x? Also, his advice is kinda true, but other things can get you killed too, like being evil xD.
