It's subtle, especially with the lighting, but I colored Seiko a couple shades more pale on this page. Tristan has such low confidence; I enjoyed putting him in the role of investigator for this chapter. Getting the dialogue right was tricky. Tristan is sharp but doubts himself. Seiko carries on naturally because she doesn't doubt nor is surprised by his abilities.

could it be simply one of those sad cases where firefighters have been setting up fires/disasters so that they can feel like a hero when they fight them?
