To recap. Gibson has now damaged Seiko’s coat, poked her with his shotgun, and insulted her intelligence. Dunno if he qualifies as a “villain,” but now he’s a textbook definition of antagonist. ;)
I wasn’t sure this page could hold its own as a mini-milestone, but it has some bright points to it. I love drawing Misaki, which I rarely get to do. The long gloves were a last minute detail I decided would add something to the scene. (Misaki played in a symphony, so this is standard attire.) Seiko’s pose and expression came out perfectly too, imo. Contrasting upbeat crime-fighting Misaki in her fancy gown with angry Seiko in her PJs amuses me.

plymayer: Thanks. I wish I could say it came naturally, but I spent an extraordinary amount of time planning and rewriting this dialogue to make it work. :P

Perfect way to describe Kaida, a catalyst. Would it even be a good idea to remind her of the past, try to get her to remember?
