I had to pack up my pets and leave my island home this week. Made a long road trip to stay at my parents’ place. I’m glad I managed to get a page done anyway. I designed four new characters for this page, and I’m pretty happy with the results. Meet “the captain” (mentioned on page 1164).
I also want to thank Tantz for helping me work through the logistics for the scene.
plymayer: I’m a boomerang child. Because of my job(s), I spend around half the year in my parents’ house. However, it’s not the home I grew up in. They moved when I was in college. 1000 X better to have a place where no one knew you as a child.

Anubis: They both are. It takes a lot to bring them down, and they don’t stay that way!

All my friends from the eastern seaboard texted and called to see if I was okay down here in Florida. They were hit by the aftermath of the hurricane . It didn't give my area anything but high wind.
