Thanks so very much! I am definitely trying to evoke something a bit more noir in this chapter, things are heating up in the case so I wanted to step up the atmosphere! I do hope more readers come back but after 3 years it might take a while to get back on the map! Hopefully over the next few months people start noticing :)

I imagine quite a few don't know you're back active yet - but they'll come around; just wait! haha... Anyway, I'm really loving the film-noir feel of this: the mood, the narration... And the art has always been topnotch!
