Vanguard Thumbnails to Pages 2
MrHades on Aug. 31, 2011
Hello!
This popped up yesterday, but wasnt meant to go up till today, so I had to delete it and re-post today. Apologies if I deleted your comment!
I made this to show how I plan my pages with thumbnails before starting on actual artwork. As you are probably aware, issue three is dialogue heavy in the first half, reverting to action in the second half. Thumb nailing the action sequences lets me get my head around what works and doesnt.
I'm pretty faithful to the layouts, but at times it just does not work out on the page or panels are merged to help with flow, hence some minor changes.
As always, thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

Lots of work between thumbs and finished page. Looks like about 12 hours worth. 5

Heh heh. I love to see how people do their 'thing'. I'm fascinated with the way you produce your 3D, El Cid.

It's always fun seeing what goes into your comic. Much more fun than seeing what goes into a sausage, I must say!
