Incidentally, Mitch couldn’t care less about whether the privacy wards are working. He’s just making conversation to set up the gag in panel thr- I mean, DISTRACT Leech. I had a real Gary Larson’s “Cow Tools†moment with this page – I stick in some random bit of unimportant fluff for the characters talk about, and suddenly everyone who reads the page is trying to decipher the true meaning behind a joke about a guy running around pantsless off-panel.
Yeah, I guess I thought that was funny at one point.
So, I didn’t exactly attempt much in the way of “prettying up†the old art for this page. Why, you may ask? Because while the prologue is part of the story, and therefore moderately important, Chapter One counts towards a school project, and therefore determines my grade. Priorities, and all that. Only panel three managed to score a bit of TLC, simply because the original sketch for it is one of my all-time favorite drawings. Still, better to post iffy art than miss an update altogether, this early in the game. Besides, I’ll have plenty of time to fix up old art once I’m an unemployable graduate.
Finals month makes me cranky.
I played about with Leech’s spots in panel three, and even though the shopped-in markings don’t QUITE match the hand-inked everything else, I’m content with how the spots themselves look. (And no, I didn’t forget to draw her legs – I actually sketched Leech in her entirety, only to have Mitch’s pants cover every line down there. Just so’s you know.)
Bluh. Maybe I'll add more to these notes when I'm less tired. Or maybe I won't! IT IS A GRAND MYSTERY.
I want to say thanks again to all of my pals reading this – I’ll strive mighty hard to live up to all your support and enthusiasm. You guys are excellent!

She's got awesome hair! That's some good inking in that panel, looks nice and clean, and the 'shopped spots don't look too bad (it's not a distracting difference, that is!). I really like her character design! The pencils are really nice too, if this is the old art I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new stuff looks like! And I wouldn't chase him either!
