Another update to set off December on an optimistic foot (at least regarding updates)! It's already December 1 here.As always, I would REALLY appreciate if you could leave your comments at my main site, to help it grow! There's a bit of extra in the Author's Note there, too! http://www.withoutmoonlight.com/?comic=chapter-3-page-20Otherwise I'm happy to get your comments here :)
Amazing job on the backgrounds and crowd! That must've taken some doing. The backgrounds always looked good to me, but they really tightened up over the last fistful of pages.
Don't be such a Jacobin Bolshevik. If it gets them to leave and not come back it's a deal. That is what Weimar wanted. Also giving away all the Hohenzollern belongings allowed them to scream poverty when it came time to pay reparations. Oh the big bad king took all the treasury we can't pay you! These guys had it all figured out.
But it isn't their 'stuff'. THey didn't buy it out of their own pocket that's filled with money off their own toil. It's with tax money and thus it belongs to the country they taxed for said stuff.
Holland got its just deserts in World War II for granting asylum to Wilhelm Hohenzollern. Famine, horrid devastation and a promise of liberation that was so delayed in coming. A good many historians say Holland suffered the worst of all occupied Western European nations. Besides granting asylum to fallen royalty is an ancient tradition with an honorable history. You give them their stuff to hopefully guarantee they shut the door behind them and don't come back.

I commented on this page on your other site but I don't tink it worked there... I love it, it shows his motivations and the deeper themes nicely.
