I'm glad folks are paying enough attention to this story to ask questions! ^_^
Sorry that I may leave a few things out- new stories are always tough to try to figure out how to keep the pacing going yet not leave out details…
This is made no easier by only having time for one update a week!
Tomorrow- a beautiful fan art from my pal, Henrike!

Err, this is the second page of a comic that I just today started reading for the first time. Oddly enough I have NO idea what you're talking about. Is this page in the right place?

For what it's worth, I've known two guys who were diagnosed as Schitzophrenic (lucky me, right?), and when I read the last page I didn't think, "Wait, there should be more symptoms!" I took "behavior" to mean he was doing a lot of stuff we weren't seeing. And he was talking to an imaginary friend. That's pretty big.

Lol, awesomeness! =3

SQUEEEE!!! I'm glad to see you're still doing comics, Barb. I read Talismen when you were doing that one and I was really sad to see it go. I missed your work a lot, I'm so excited to find this comic! Please, take your time on this, it'll be great no longer how long it takes, and we'll be here. Charlie looks unhappy. I don't think I blame him.

Jerle at 6:16PM, Oct. 4, 2007

--*daaaawh*, looogaaad'im... he looks like a puppy. Like he's saying "...help...me...!"

No matter what, if he's exhibiting withdrawal and depression, then something is wrong.
crazyninny at 1:35PM, Oct. 4, 2007
Mmmm... He looks sexy in that straight jacket. >=3

Gorgeous illo, B! You make me sick. Your work has such a lyrical feel.
simonitro at 11:35AM, Oct. 4, 2007
Don't worry about it, Barb! Prologues are quite annoying, to be honest! It's the hardest part when writing the story... people are rushful and wants explination before hand. Take as much time as you want to get to the main point of the story. I'll be patient to read this great comic. Good luck!
Chameleon Kid at 10:02AM, Oct. 4, 2007
I love this art--it reminds me of the older Disney movies. It's got a very pleasant and smooth quality about it. :)

My brother was a psych major and is currently involved in the field. He's lost a lot of hair and admits he can't begin to get a handle on me. Just sayin'...
Hero at 9:10AM, Oct. 4, 2007
I feel terribly dumb being a Psych Major and not having even thought of a wrongful diagnosis, but on the other hand, I was too caught up in a good story to think twice about it.

tehe his expression is quite fitting!
Villamar at 7:59AM, Oct. 4, 2007
Straight jackets suck, especially if you've got an itch. Just ask Cheech and Chong
TheMidge28 at 7:58AM, Oct. 4, 2007
honestly with the story just starting...I think suspending judgment til later date is in order. everything had not been revealed and I think you are doing a wonderful job with the story telling...time will reveal all things.
Tantz_Aerine at 7:14AM, Oct. 4, 2007
Heheheh. I am sorry if I sounded too nitpicky. Actually I thought that misdiagnosing him (since he obviously is not crazy in a fairy story) was part of the plot. Just that even for a quack of a shrink to diagnose him so heavily he would need some other symptoms. If you want (and are interested, this is not really necessary) PQ me and I will list a couple of symptoms he can have in his file to warrant a diagnosis like that. ;) Love the look as he wears the straightjacket, too. XD
