Ok Cthulhu, if you were a chick, which one would you be attracted to? Hmm? :)
Vin is the right answer, (For most gals). It's the same for gay men.

Now, you're a gay man that loves guys like Vin, how do you attract them? Ponce around like PeeWee? NO, you buff up and make yourself look like Vin as well.

Interesting fact that a lot of massive body-builders are gay… heh. Being “manly” in no way guarantees heterosexuality, “manly” men are just as likely to be homosexual. :P

Not that it really matters… It's just interesting that people don't seem to realise it.

Yeah, I know plenty gay dudes who do the same thing and watch wrestling and body build.

They had to stop wrestling themselves because.. well… it was obvious. ^-^;

Also, Cthulhu, I find it extremely funny that you picked Vin Diesel, since rumors of him being gay have been around for years. ;)

The reason I said “manlier” is because I was eluding to the fact that the Spartans were only a culture of MEN. No wonder they died out. :P

A mindless action film with lots of killing and… killing… and babes. What more could a manly man like myself ask for in an action movie???

Seriously though, I thought it was a good movie and actually I recently bought it. I have read the comic 300 and I would like to say I am greatful for atleast one change they made in the film…. Atleast the warriors arent butt freakin naked half the time like the comic.

I would recommend it. :)

It all depends on what you like. My husband/spouse/same-sex-partner/some-freak'in-word and I, left our kid at the babysitter and went to our first movie AT the movie theater in 4 years, since we got our son. It was our anniversary, so we had a nice dinner and went to see 300. We found it great, even IF the warriors WERE NOT butt freak'in naked half the time like the comic. It was wonderful stylized reality. For example, if they had killed that many people, the sand should have been inches deep in clotted blood. It was just a fun, violent tale of the little guy taking on the big guy and winning.

I took from it that individuals who are willing to sacrifice can change the course of the world around them. And I don't mean by killing people. I mean people who sacrifice time and effort to influence city hall to get a park put in down the street. People who sacrifice watching so much cable to go raise their kids. Martin Luther King Jr. was influencal in changing the world, sacrificing his time effort and life. Then again, so was Bill Gates, he just had sacrifice his soul to the devil. (But I wouldn't want to see Bill Gates in a Spartan thong.)

300's use of green screen is going to change the way movies are made. Sky Capitan showed how it could be done badly, 300 showed how it could be done well.

P.S. Vin Diesel is Dreamy.
P.P.S Chuck Norris is NOT.
