How embarrassing for him… That's like getting stuck in a conversation with one of those Jehovah witnesses that come to your front door… Jeebus.
He should have carried on with his KISS act and told the jesus guy to F**k off and die. >:)

hahaha yea
when someone start on me with “do you believe in God” conversation i just excuse myself…cause i likely know where it is going.

this makes a lot of people go “if i'm damn, might as well enjoy it!”…so i think this type of person/belief is just destructive

Yeah, that's fucking bullshit. That's stuff pulled right out of those idiotic Way Of The Master videos featuring Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron.

Here's the best way to handle morons like this:

Moron: “Have you ever told a lie?”
Mr. Neil: “Have you?”
Moron: “Um… yeah, I suppose.”
Mr. Neil: “What does that make you?”
Moron: “I guess that makes me a liar.”
Mr. Neil: “Why should I trust the word of a self-professed liar?”
Moron: “Uh… um…”
Mr. Neil: “See ya…”

Or better yet, point out that you've also told the truth, and therefore that makes you a truther!

…Stupid evangelical oversimplification.

So why was that guy holding a stack of cash? Did I miss something?

I actually enjoy engaging in conversations that start with “do you believe in God?”. Not sure why… maybe I just like argueing?

I really think guys like that get off on “sending” people to Hell. It's empowering, like the feeling a police officer must get when he catches a criminal. It's a feeling of power over someone else that people generally lack in their day to day life, and it must feel all the better to “get” a so-called “Knight In Satan's Service”.

Heh, Personally I'd have just acted a part and said; "No, I don't lie sir! I would never, ever steal either! I love jay-sus with ALLLLLLLLLLLLlllllllllll my widdle heart, he is my one true saviour. Bless you. BLESS YOU! BLESS YOU ALL!"

Yeah… It's like jujitsu or judo I suppose… just go where they're pulling you :)

That stupid puffed up fat fool! Ink's right.

In a way, yeah. Note that the Kiss demon guy was actually a moderate Christian, and this retard is still giving him a hard time about his faith. The purpose of the tactic is to corner people and scare them into a more hardnosed evangelical form of Christianity, but in lew of “saving” individuals on the street, the tactic is supposed to shake YOUR faith (assuming you have faith) and turn YOU (the viewer) into an evangelical.

Of course, they're only going to show you the people who are actually foolish enough to fall into this trap and not people like me, who've actually humiliated idiots like this.

The thing is, this guy approaches you with the assumption that everyone lies sometimes, and he's right. If you're a human being, then you've lied plenty of times, whether to get out of a ticket, protect someone, or whatever. But that doesn't make you “a liar” any more than telling the truth makes you an Honest Abe.

But that's where you can turn it around on him. If anyone who lies is a liar (i.e., the entire planet), then he's a liar too, and he'll tell you that rather than risk lying to your face. But to save face he'll say, “but I've been saved by the Lord, Jesus Christ!”, to which you retort, “Why should I believe that? You just told me that you're a liar.”, and walk away.

And then, maybe it'll be him questioning his faith instead of you. Too bad they'll never show encounters like that on TV.

I doubt he'd be questioning his faith. His dedication and spirituality, maybe, but not his faith. I've known several people who are among the more evangelical, some of them family members, and one thing is for sure with all of them, they NEVER question their faith. Even when faced with cold hard facts that prove them wrong, they never question their faith. This is why they devise so many hair brained ways of working around the truths of the world around them. They're so desperate to be right, they'll make shit up just to prove everyone else wrong.
