I've created a comic strip series, the problem is I don't have the, uhhh,…technology? To put it up. See, I don't have any software that uses .gifs, .jpgs, or .pngs, I just have MS paint (BMP), and photoshop 5.0 (PSD). More specifically, can anyone point me in the right direction for getting some free, online, conversion software that works? I've tried some sites, but their downloads are flawed, and frankly far too technical for my noggin. Any, I've gotta go, my comic's called Dusko, by the way, and I have almost 50 strips and 4 12-page books to upload, so you can understand my want for something readily available, quick, and free.

What are you talking about? Both of those programs have file conversion features, but you should use Photoshop's. Just click “Save As”, and when the window comes up, look for the dropdown menu that says “Format”. All of those formats, GIF, JPG, and PNG will be there.

Photoshop works. Even Paint works. Just open it up and then go to file > save as and choose what type you want to save it as in the little drop down menu.

yeah, but paint sucks when it comes to saving things as jpgs. compresses it to the point where the colors and such looks like crap, and plus there's blotchiness even when it's all in black and white.

I believe he wants something that can covert it and save it in compressed image sizes without it looking like crap.

go look in tips and tricks forum, my friend…. you'll find some threads on some very excellent free progams for picture editing and even for saving things in different formants. just scroll down on the DD forum index to find it.
