I'm not such a film-noir fan (haven't seen many of those), but this movie was totally my type of film. I friggin' loved it! It may even become one of my favorites.

Brilliant filming and editing, brilliantly written, good acting and a fine subtile soundtrack. AND teen drama (I like teen drama when it's done well). Saw it together with a lot of other students (I'm doing some school for media design) and a lot of them tought it was boring and stupid. Well… they were wrong… it's kick-ass!

Wow. We've stolen Noir away from the old codgers and cast teenager in their places.

I have to say that I almost feel like laughing while hearing a teenager deliver lines like that. I mean, when combining noir and teen drama you run the risk of making your actors sound like mockeries of older people. Almost like they're trying to recreate a setting with young people that's not meant for them.

Still, at the same time it looks kind of interesting. If I have time to see it I will.

If nothing else, that kid that used to be on the 3rd rock from the sun looks a lot better in that movie than he ever did in that tv show.

…good movie though. I liked the fights.
