Can we know who has favorited us?

H'lo.

I've been wondering—is there any way to know how many people have favorited your comic, or even who has favorited it?

Also, I guess there's no way of knowing how many individual visitors you get (as opposed to individual pageviews), is there?

To see the # of people faving you you need to download the drunduck notifier in the “My Account” panel. It wont work on vista or macs i think, so if so you could probably ask an admin to look for you because you need to enter your username and password into it.

There's no way to see individual people, whether they just didn't put that in or because the repercussions of creepy spriters pestering people that un-faved them i don't know.

And to see more pageview info you'll have to use off-site service and insert the tracking code into your html.

Thanks for replying. Could you give me a little more info about inserting a tracking code? I'm a real ignoramus when it comes to this stuff.

Give this a try: http://www.statcounter.com/ I know many people use this for specific stat tracking. You just gotta get an account set up and it will lead the way!

The tracking service will give you some HTML code you can copy and paste. You'll have to ‘edit html’ of your comic page and insert that code in there someplace in order for the tracker to work.

Unfortunately, you're using one of the templates which won't let you edit the html. I'm not sure what to tell you. if you want the tracker you'll either have to do a lot of html work to reverse-engineer the base html code for the page, or switch back to the default template. Or, perhaps, use one of the black and white templates, for which the page html code is available so it's easily edited.

I have the DrunkDuck Alerter thing, but I don't really understand what it tells me. Like, it has my title followed by a number in brackets. What does that number mean? And where would it indicate the number that have favorited you? Sorry for all the questions.

Dammit about the template thing. I don't know html, so I can't reverse-engineer my page. I didn't really like any of the the templates, to be honest. I just picked the one I least disliked. Gotta think about this….

If you check out the Coding Help and Templates forum, there's a number of stickied threads which have code for some other custom templates which users have made. Some of them are very nice and you would need to do very little to change the colors to customize them a little.
