Can anyone remember the cartoons we used to watch as kids? Like pokemon for instance or Recess - Anyone have any favorites or feeling of nostalgia when they see a particular cartoon?

Thundercats or nothing!

“You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process,” he added. “That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle.”

I can thank The Tick, Animaniacs, and Freakazoid! (and the original Looney Tunes - far before my time though they were) for shaping the sense of humor I possess today.

And while I did (and still do) enjoy the Superman animated series, Justice League/JLU, and the animated DC movies that Bruce Timm/Andrea Romano/etc are making today (though I wish they'd somehow been able to take the entirety of New Frontier and make every page and story move), the first one of the bunch, Batman: The Animated Series remains one of my favorite programs of all time, and certainly gets credit for my long-standing love of cartoons, film noir, and people in tights punching one another.

And I'd be remiss to forget the X-Men animated series (the one with the fanatical devotion to continuity, not the one where they're all teenagers).
