I am getting the same issue for my comic “The Thinkers”. It worked before the maintenence, but now nothing… I have uploaded three new pages since, but nothing on the site shows.

Did you guys make these comics after January 13th? If so then this is related to an issue a number of other people are having- that their comics are there but they can't actually do anything with them, and for some reason some of them can't be accessed.

The programmer does know about this general problem and is working on it, but do let me know when the comics were created since that helps us narrow down.

OK, we will keep on them about fixing these. It seems to not be a universal thing, some people have the problems and some people don't.

Is the issue based on user or on comic? After trying again a few minutes before this post I found that on the address bar it mentions not being able to find the comic in the first place.

I am also having the same problem. I can't seem to view my comic at all; it just keeps leading me back to the homepage. Can't view comic pages either.

Well the comics are now available to access however all of my design work is gone and even though the comics seem to be there they don't show up.

mastergloyd, it should be working now. If it isn't then please let us know. :]

Corian Wornen, yes unfortunately you'll have to redo some work. The site was rebuilt based on two different backups: A backup of the data from earlier in the day it was lost (late March), and a backup of images and custom HTML from January 13th. That means that all images and custom html after Jan 13th are gone and have to be re-uploaded by the user.

You can fix the broken images on the comic pages by using “Edit” in the control panel's listing of pages. That way you can update the image without losing any comments. The custom HTML you'll have to enter again.

People should ALWAYS keep local copies of images and html files they've worked on… it's like keeping backups, people should always do it for just-in-case. If you didn't keep a copy of your design work, I'm sorry that you lost it… it's a hard lesson learned. :I

Well IDK if I kept a copy of the html coding but I didn't do much in the first place. So that shouldn't be to terribly hard, and I was smart enough to make copies of the few images I had done (such as the next and back buttons) so I can do what I need for those I thank you for your help and hope that you have no further issues with backups.
