Commentings Trouble

I have a question that I'm not sure has been asked yet.

On my main site the comments link used to work properly, displaying the number of comments and linking directly to them. Now it says “Comments (-1)” and the link leads to a blank page.

Any idea how to fix this so the comments link leads to a section where readers can leave comments?

Thanks in advance.

it looks like your link is wrong. your code

Someone
Comments (-1)

links to a message on the forums which doesn't exist. whereas the code from a friend of mine's home page

Someone
Comments (8)

links to a comic page. not sure how to fix it though.

Looking at the code you put in there, it looks like my site is trying to connect to some community topic - not sure why that is. Your friend's site leads to the index, where there are commenting options.

Here's another question, somewhat related:

When I have a homepage and I click on the “latest” link, I've noticed that it never leads to the latest page, but instead to the previously posted page. I've noticed this on several people's comics. Any thoughts? Anyone know an admin that might be able to fix this?
