Deleting a comic in MY FAVORITES

Hi guys! I'm just wondering why there isn't a delete button next to the comics under My Favorites? I'm cleaning up my account and I'm deleting some comics which are not being updated by their creators until now and I'm winding up my list of comics for just 5 titles. Is there a bug in my DD control panel?

A lot of people were complaining about this a while ago. It is possible, using this:

Edit: The beginning seems to have been cut off, whoops. Go into View Page Source or view Source to bring this up.

Someone, I think it was Skoolmunkee
function addFav() { if ( !confirm('Are you sure you want to add this comic as a favorite?' ) return; ajaxCall('/xmlhttp/addFav.php?fav=15848

There's more after and before that line. I look for addFav, and usually find the line. The part that's interesting is ajaxCall('/xmlhttp/addFav.php?fav=15848

Why is this interesting? Because can you imagine happens when you change addFav.php?fav=15848 to deleteFav.php?fav=15848? I knew you could. So, back to the example of saying goodbye to Zeroes_League. This means putting this URL into my browser

http://www.drunkduck.com/xmlhttp/removeFav.php?fav=2259&p=374318

Also, for future reference, this sort of post should go into the ‘Help! How do I. . . ?’ forum.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Unfortunately I'm not much into coding. I'll just wait until someone fixes it. Thanks anyway.

Don't hold your breath.

It's not that hard. It is tedious though, especially if you're deleting a lot.

Also, switching your favourites list to ‘this week’ can help a bit.

Oh, apparently there's another way:

SPaNG
http://www.drunkduck.com/rss/rss.php?cid=423

423, in this case is the comic account number.

Then just paste it into the URL that mapaghimagsik gave everyone:

http://www.drunkduck.com/xmlhttp/removeFav.php?fav=###

To….

http://www.drunkduck.com/xmlhttp/removeFav.php?fav=423

Thanks Custard Trout! Mapaghimagsik's link worked! And yes, its a bit tedious as you said just by searching that account number in the source page, but it did its job. Thanks a lot! :D

The fast way to find the comic ID number is by hovering your mouse over the RSS button for that comic (it's in the DD toolbar at the top of the comic page). It will show up in the URL :)
